I love trying to capture feel and texture. This could be a little bit of the bed of a stream with pebbles worn smooth from the brush with water and the ages. One even looks like a tiny skull. I was thinking about Jesus wandering Galilee with the disciples, passing by and stooping to take up a pebble as we do; enjoying its smoothness, weight and colour (see Mark's Gospel, chapter 1, verse 39).
