As Jesus and the disciples cross the Sea of Galilee a storm blows up, threatening to sink their boat. Jesus, awakening from sleep and taking in the terror, calls wind and wave into stillness. I imagined a pool of safety amidst the still raging storm (see Mark's Gospel, chapter 4, verses 35-41).
