Come November and we remember the cost and loss of war. On the 11th day of the 11th month, at the 11th hour of the morning, the guns fell finally silent on the Western Front and the horror of World War One came to a close. We remember them, and the poppies that grew in the churned earth and the carnage. But we remember, too, the killing and dying that continue.
